| Poor Skid has had two separate strokes within the summer months. This past one was extremely scary. He was off balanced and disoriented for a whole week and didn't eat at all. There were serious talks of putting him down- thankfully God heard some prayers and has blessed our family with more time with this sweet ole dog. |

| getting ready for our huge home improvement project next year we had to cut down our bushes around our house |

| for months we have had just the stumps of these bushes -we thought we could dig them our by hand- HA! Boy were we wrong. We tried pulling them out with a chain and small tractor with no luck. Finally we brought in the big dog and Grandpa Fricke to get the job done. Backhoes are awesome. (Love this picture of Lane watching the action) |
