The boys enjoyed the safari petting zoo-especially the tiger

feeding llamas

they really liked this llama

Yes, it was 90 degrees outside, yes, we had a campfire and yes we slept in a tent in the backyard. Why? This was Lane's cotton jar reward. Per his request we did this in the heat of summer. He had a blast- although there were some amazingly fun times all in all I was miserable! I played the pleased and happy mom role well though and let no one how unhappy I was. I was hot, tired, and I got ate alive by mosquitoes (literally over 35 bites covered my body the next morning)- but Lane loved it and I love him so----there ya have it

sparklers too

I slept awful but Lane slept in and we actually had to wake him up- we never have to wake him up!

After church picture with my sweet little boys

We made a back to school chain for Lane- he's enjoying pulling off the links!

Best read of the summer! It couldn't have come at a more appropriate time for me to read. I love the class, character, and principles in this book! I truly believe all parents should read this book -especially if you have children in organized sports!

picnic in the park

followed by a friendly game of kickball

pretending to play ice hockey- hysterical to watch

so proud of Lane- his name written by himself in sidewalk chalk. The most precious thing I have seen in a while.

One of the last fun fridays of the season

These boys- i tell ya what!

crazy kids and I love them

crazier kids

Grant's tournament got rained out so we had a car party- waiting out the rain was actually really fun

bouncing on the hotel bed

sooooo tired of baseball games

Grant was asked at the end of Little League season to try out for an 8u traveling team- several months later- here we are going to games out of town to cheer on this Jacksonville Drive team. A great group of very talented kids. Grant is still timid and shy (as I think he always will be because that is just his personality) but he is coming around. It's been a great experience for him as he is learning so much more about his favorite sport! It's been fun to watch. Nerve wrecking but fun

I love this picture of our little man- first game- he was so nervous (and so was I- as I was nervous for him)

and this little boy is so easy to take along- he hangs in there with us even when its got to be sooo boring for a 3 year old to sit at a baseball tournament all day long. Thankful for Roger and Sandy for entertaining him for us.
