Grant loves to play baseball but he also loves to WATCH too. He enjoys watching just about anyone play ball. Except for maybe the CUBS.
This is exactly how I feel when I watch Grant. All I want for him to do is HAVE FUN....oh and be a respectful and thoughtful player. That's all.

This group of kids were sooooo much fun to watch. All of them have made remarkable improvements as the season trailed on.
Grant is so blessed to have Jason as his father. The time he dedicates to coaching Grant on the field measures to nearly nothing when compared to the time he dedicates to showing him the ropes of baseball out in our backyard. Grant loves to play pitch and catch and 9 times out of 10 that is what he chooses to do when Jason asks him what he wants to play. He even ropes me into playing pitch and catch and although I am not as skilled as the both of them it is a joy to spend time with Grant doing something he truly loves to do. Plus, it's gotta improve his game by trying to catch my wild pitches. Lol
Grant really enjoyed having Coach Crawford as a coach again this year too. He does an excellent job encouraging the kids to do their best and have fun.
Oh, one person who is not sad to see the end of the t-ball season is Lane. He would enjoy the games for the first 20 minutes...but when his popcorn, hotdog and ring pop where gone and had settled he would say, "let's go home now" or "is it over yet?" or "lets go sit in the car." Hopefully, next year he will be older and more entertained by the game and watching the kiddos play.
The team gathered this past Sunday at the Frozen Penguin to celebrate a great season. Grant claims he doesn't like ice cream anymore so he filled his cup with skittles instead. Silly boy.
