Grant participated in swimming lessons in Arenzville this year. It went so well- better than expected actually. He really enjoyed swim lessons at Illinois College last year but this year they didn't offer class so we decided to give somewhere new a try. He went to Cara's for two weeks- Monday through Thursday. He learned so much more this year. Cara did an amazing job keeping it fun and REALLY teaching the kiddos techniques. He only had four little kiddos in his class -compared to last years 15+ kids. He had a great time and is already asking when he can go back.
The end of baseball season for 2013. Which so far as also meant the end of playing baseball in the back yard. Grant has been picking up the football now and wanting to play that instead.
I think he was sad that the season was over and even more disappointed about the PINK fourth place ribbon. He didn't care as much about the 4th place title than he did about the COLOR of the ribbon. LOL
No more chasing Lane around while Grant plays ball -at least no more until fall.
Grant loves playing pitcher and first base. Probably cause he loves the action those positions offer.
Grant's signature move- pounding the bat on the ground two times (at least) before hitting the ball.

What a bunch! LOL
I love that Grant could have his Dad be his coach again. I think it is so important to him to have Jason there on the field.
The team trophy.
The PINK ribbon. He's only smiling because of the Skittles he got too.

I love this picture!!!
