Grrr...I am feeling frustrated and needed to use something other than facebook to vent-so I am sorry blog followers but you get to hear me gripe. There is another Dana R. Fricke in Morgan County-and she is making life difficult for me. I hate to sound bitter but I want this chick to LEAVE TOWN NOW! Everywhere I go, I am mistaken for the other Dana Fricke. The library, hospital, and now my OB doctor. I went to my OB annual appointment today (fun right?) and the nurses had pulled the wrong chart and about gave me a mammogram!!! This is how it went down
Nurse: "mammogram time"
Me: um no.
Nurse: Yep, now that you are 40 it's that time
Me: um...I am no where near 40.
Nurse: (nervous chuckle) "uh says you are 40 right here in your chart"
Me: "You've got the wrong Dana Fricke -there are two Dana R. Fricke's in town and I bet you have the wrong chart."
Nurse: "when's your birthday?"
Me: "3-23-80"
Nurse: "Yep, this is not your chart."
I went through with the exam and went to the front to request a copy of my chart (because Dr. Audet is leaving) and they STILL had the wrong chart pulled for me and in fact they had already faxed her insurance company for billing purposes! Ugh!
It was so frustrating that I almost cried. I know,that sounds a bit dramatic but it's true. I am just annoyed with the confusion. We have had calls from the hospital wanting us to make payments on what was actually HER account. I had troubles getting a library card because of her. Grrr. I think this is bad but I am sure all of the Susan Smith's out there go through this all of the time. Really, two Dana Fricke's in the same 30 mile radius????
Ok, I am finished complaining. Sorry. Suggestions are welcomed on how to get this girl to move to Mexico.
