Halloween Costumes Are In!!!

We just received the boys' Halloween costumes in the mail. I am completely pleased with Lane's as it fits him well and it's exactly what I thought it would be....Grant's however has me torn on what to do.  He's in a size 5T in shirts and 4T in pants (sometimes 5T) so I ordered him the youth size 4-6 instead of the toddler size 4.  Unfortunately it looks a bit big on him. And now that he has it and has tried it on he doesn't want to part with it and refuses to let me send it back. Grrr....I don't know what to do. It's times like these when I wish I not only owned a sewing machine but also knew how to sew.  I m guessing we will end up keeping the costume and try to layer clothes underneath to fill it out some. He'll probably look like a goober but hey-doesn't every one on Halloween?  Wish I could post pics without ruining the fun. I ended up doing it last year because Grant's costume was just too darn cute not to post...actually it was less about the costume and more about the HUGE grin he had on when he tried it on for the first time that I couldn't resist posting.  Oh, PS-Grant has chosen to be a police officer and Lane is going to be his little jailbird.  I wanted to do something more cute for baby Lane this year but I also wanted to go with a theme and have them be something together. I am actually quite happy Grant ended up choosing the police officer costume over the Ironman suit because I really wasn't enthused about having to dress baby Lane up as baby Hulk. LOL.  It seems like such a long time before Halloween but I am certain time will fly by and it will be here before we know it. Glad it's all taken care of (for the most part)-maybe I can beef Grant up before then so his suit will fit better. LOL
