Grant in his new BIG BED....now I am on the hunt for new bed sheets for him.
Jumping on the bed...something I absolutely hate....but hey...whatever!
Cheese! So happy in his new big bed!
Now he can reach knickknacks he could never reach before.
Rainbow picture is totally random -it was taken May 5th -I know the date because that was the night we announced to our family about baby #2! I remember seeing a double rainbow exactly like this a few years ago..think it took a picture of them then too. Grant really enjoyed seeing them-and so did I!As we plan to re-do the spare bedroom for our new addition we are also creating more of a BIG BOY bedroom for Grant. We moved the Queen size bed from the spare room to Grants room. He was sleeping in a little toddler bed...which I must add was getting to be a bit too small for our long legged little Grant. However, it was a great transitional bed for Grant as he exited the baby crib into a real bed. It was so sad seeing his room transform (crazy what a big bed can do for cozying up a room) -I took all of his baby bedding out and put them all together -including the crib mobile, bumpers, dust ruffle and baby blanket that came with the set. It almost made me cry to think about how big our little boy has gotten. I started to think about how truly independent he know is....he feeds himself, he goes potty alone, he can now even reach things on counter tops (with the help of his step-stool) by himself..and now he sleeps in a HUGE bed by himself too. He loves it by the way. He kept saying, "I got a new big bed and I LOVE IT!" Several times during the first day after the new bed entered the room he said, "I am tired, I think I need to go to bed." Of course he said this with the biggest grin and it was also only 8:30am.....so of course he couldn't go back to bed...he just loves it so much that he wanted to spend time in it I guess. And to top it off he will be going to school in 3 short months!!!!!!! Where did my little baby go? Sigh!
