The hot coco cones I madeMan I have been overly productive and busy the past few days. I have started to tag items for Marylees garage sale coming up this spring. I know it's a ways a way however, it's cold and nasty outside and there's nothing better to do in the winter but to clean out closets and drawers. I mean who wants to be doing that stuff when it's beautiful outside? No me. So I have deep cleaned the bathroom and cleaned out the drawers and cabinets and I have tackled the playroom stuff too. I threw a bunch away but I have three huge bags of old toys to get rid of. I am excited about shedding this "extra skin."
In addition to the garage sale preparation I have made hot coco cones for all of my daycare families. I did this last year and it was cute and fun so I decided to do it again. Grant loved this because it meant that he got to have the left overs. He had a his first cup last night and loved it. I was surprised because I felt like he ruined it with all of the chocolate chips and marshmallows. I like the both of them but only sparingly. Grant put a large quantity in his....and he LOVED it.
We also went to the library for Creative Toddler time yesterday....Grant got to make cinnamon ornaments. He kept wanting to eat it (although it was probably very edible as it was made of applesauce and cinnamon it probably wouldn't taste very well). He continues to grow (socially) in that environment-he is now fully participating without me having to prompt him. He loves the "teacher" Miss Ann. I love her too! She awesome with the little ones.
Grant also attended cousin Olivia's school Christmas Program on Monday night. He got to see her be a bunny and he also enjoyed bumping into and playing with his friend Kyle. Before and after the program we took Grant around Jacksonville to see some of the Christmas lights. He just eats this up.....he is always very enthusiastic about looking at them.
Grant has been struggling to breathe as he has a cold and his nose is all stuffy. He has a very raspy voice too-I keep asking him if he feels ok and he keeps responding by saying, "stop saying that Mommy."
