SNOW DAY

Triopia school had their first "snow day" yesterday due to the icy road conditions. Good thing I am a planner and had a lunch and activities planned for the day. I had all of my little ones here (minus two) all day long. I had planned to bake all of my Christmas cookies yesterday afternoon while the kids were at school and Grant was down for his nap but that planned caved when i found out I was having my kiddos here all day.
I instead-stayed up until 11:30 last night making up and decorating all of my cookies. Last year, I made a tin of cookies for all of our immediate family members (and Woody and Dorothy-our neighbors). I intend on making it a tradition and doing it every year. I have them all done and ready to give out. I will be able to give the most away tomorrow at our Cottingham Family Christmas celebration.
This years celebration brings with it several doses of antibiotics for both myself and little Grant. Grant has had a horrible cough and runny nose all week-I chalked it up to it just being a cold but after taking him to the doctor today we found out that it is strep throat. Since I have had a raw throat all week long I assumed I have strep as well and had Doc Bohan write me up a script too. So hopefully we will be well on our way to being mended by Christmas next week. I hope so anyway.
