cute as a bug -even bright and early in the AM

not the most flattering picture of me but Grant wanted his picture taken with me-and I often say, "Grant will probably wonder where I was during all of the events/holidays/and exciting times in his life because there is no proof of me being there -as I am always the one taking the pic and never the one in them." Hahaha. I am shameless -I guess.

Oh the joys of an old/new toy. Grant got this little remote control car from his Aunt Lori and Uncle Mike last Christmas but never really gave it much attention (mostly because I hadn't changed the batteries in a long time and he kind of forgot about it) well he has now found it and has enjoyed playing with it lately. It was the last thing he did last night and the first thing he did this morning. So funny to watch him-he just giggled and giggled when he would slam it into the wall or when it made it go out of control and it started to "chase" him. Fun stuff. I can't wait until Christmas as I think he will really enjoy his new toys! And we will equally enjoy watching him enjoy them.Ok, so I have cleaned the windows (the best I can considering our windows are crap) in the porch, I have touched up paint in the entryway, cleaned and organized the basement, and took a two mile run/walk on the treadmill and it's only 2pm. I hope this productivity continues throughout the week because I have several other things I would like to check off my to-do list. I am giving myself a pat on the back today but I think this is all stemming from my very NON-PRODUCTIVE day yesterday and the guilt I am harboring because of it.
The countdown is on for Harry Potter - only 4 more days. Vicki and I started the movie marathon on Saturday and it will continue tonight. I still have not purchased our tickets so I hope I can snag some for opening night but if not-I won't loose my mind or anything. I don't think-anyway.
