I apologize to all of my blog followers for not posting sooner than now. We have been extremely busy lately and in addition to that my blog site was down for over a week so I have been unable to get this updated. I am sure there's going to be things that I fail to remember to write about but I will do my best to catch you up on things with us. Jason and I decided to would be a good idea to plant a garden this year. We finally have it all planted and it's so-far-so-good. We went out to eat with G-ma and G-pa Fricke, Jamie, Jenna, and Livvy, yesterday for Mother's Day. It was nice to get together. I had a great Mother's Day. Jason gave me a gift card to BJ's Spa so I can get another full body massage and I got to spend the day with my boys. We had a date night this past Saturday. Grant stayed with G-ma and G-pa Fricke while Jay and I went to Springfield to pick up Grant's pictures at Sears. We went shopping at JcPenny's, and out to eat at TGIF Fridays. We came back to J-ville to watch a movie Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and then we stopped by Vicki's Crawdad Boil. It was a great day. Last weekend Jason went to the Kentucky Durby with a bachelor party so Grant and I stayed the weekend with my parents. We had a ball. We took Grant to the Dogwood Parade that Saturday. He loved it. We also went to Siloam Springs to see Lori, Mike, and Collin at their campsite. Grant loved just wondering around there. We had a ton of fun and Grant got to bond with his other grandparents for a change. The week before that, Grant got to go with G-ma Fricke to the Triopia baseball game. Grant has really been quite funny lately. He has taken on such a funny personality. He loves to talk and does so non-stop. He loves to walk and run around outside (and in-but prefers outside). Things Grant loves to do are listed below
1. being outside
2. going for wagon rides
3. talking
4. biting (unfortunately me)
5. throwing things (especially food)
6. remotes
7. cell phones
8. being chased
9. puppies
10. rocks (likes to throw them)
We will try to stay on top of this whole blog thing more diligently from now on-however, with nicer weather approaching it may be difficult. We plan to go to Quincy this weekend to a wedding so Grant will get to see his other grandparents again. He currently has a fever and a runny nose. Jay and I don't know if this is due to him getting more teeth or just have a touch of something. I hope it gets better soon -because he hasn't been sleeping well at night. We will post again soon.
