Ok, so I have too many things to stay on top of. I have this blog to update, my myspace account -which I have also neglected, my email account, and my facebook. Add on top of that -trying to stay on top of filling out Grant's baby book regularly and getting pictures developed, organized, and put into albums. Why do I do this to myself?

Well, several weeks ago Grant went to his first wedding reception. It was in Quincy so we stayed with my parents for the weekend. Grant loved running around the reception hall...he enjoyed himself which is good news because he will be going to Aunt Vicki's wedding in August.

A few weeks ago we also went to see Jeremy, Lacy, and Ella at their place. Grant had a blast there. He loved their dogs and loved climbing up and down their deck stairs. It was nice to hang out with friends again...it had been too long. Grant also went to the zoo (Springfield) for the first time last weekend. We went with Grandma and Grandpa Cottingham, Cassie, and Aunt Vicki. We had a great time. Grant didn't really know what was going on but he still had fun running around. We think his favorite animal was the big turtles. We had a picnic in the park after our zoo visit. On Memorial Day we went to see our friends Jeff, Amy, and Bryson. Grant enjoyed going somewhere new and playing with new toys. We all had a lot of fun but the grown ups didn't get much time to catch up and talk because we were chasing our toddlers around...but oh well. This past Friday we went to a graduation party. Grant enjoyed the food and puppies...that seems to be a theme with Grant. Give him food and put him where dogs are and he is bound to have a good time. Saturday Vicki, Lori, Grandma Cottingham and Collin and I all went to Springfield to shop and get our dresses altered. Grant spent the morning with Grandma Fricke and that evening Jason and I went to the Littleton Race Party while Grandma Cottingham stayed with him. Yesterday we went to Grandma and Grandpa Fricke's for Grandpas birthday gathering. Grant ate pizza, went on a four wheeler ride, and played with Livvy. I've been busy planning Vicki's wedding shower which is this weekend. I think I have everything ready to go. It always causes me so much stress planning things like that so I will be happy when it's over and all goes well. We will have a lot to write about in June I am sure. I hope to get Grant in the swimming pool sometime soon...as he has yet to go. I am anxious to take him! I think he would love it!
