Halloween 2014

Every year around Halloween Jason will come home from work and change into some old Halloween masks. He will come outside when the kids are most unsuspecting and chase them around the yard. All but one of my little daycare kiddos loved this this year.

He loved playing in the leaves but it made me nervous because at this time (before we knew what he was allergic to) he was having a difficult time breathing and I didn't want him to have an allergic or asthmatic reaction.

the boys loved cutting open pumpkins and investigating what was inside.

MacMurray homecoming parade. Lane "flicking" us. For those who don't know - Lane has developed a signature move, we call "the flick" he flicks instead of high fives, fist bumps, hugs and kisses. He prefers to give you a good flick to either greet you or say his departures.

it's always fun to meet up with these girls. Mallory was a hoot...I loved watching her shake her little booty to the beat of the marching bands.

Pumpkin painting time!

Although they argue and fight -Grant really is a great big brother. Always trying to help and/or teach his little brother something new.

Grant's creations.

This year, we told the boys they could carve whatever they would like into their Jack-o-lanterns. Grant didn't give it much thought as he had already decided he wanted a CROSS. What an amazing kid we have been blessed with.

Lane wanted a ghost.

I love our yard in the fall.

this is Lane trying to get semi trucks (really any vehicle) to honk at him. He succeeds 9 times out of 10 which encourages him to want to do it more.

I absolutely love when they are cuddled up together. Brotherly love at it's finest.

Grant had a difficult time deciding what to be this year for Halloween. At one point, he wanted to be the Headless Horseman, but after reading him the negative reviews on the costume he then changed his mind and wanted to be Abe Lincoln. He made a great president even if the mask gave him problems.

Lane wanted to be Super Why...so Super Why he was!

Grant is an exceptional little reader. Lane loves to listen to his big brother read to him.
