This is his "Oooh" face...he doesn't say one word yet but he does say "oooh" all of the time -not sure that counts as a word though
Once again, I took several pics of him and all of them were just too darn sweet not to post. He smiled for nearly all of them with such ease. All I have to say is "Lane Matthew" and snap the photo.
He's got his own giraffe but likes Grant's stuffed giraffe way better
Giving Grant's giraffe a big kiss
It's a stare down. Oh how I wish I could find a duplicate of Grant's giraffe. Lane loves is so but as does Grant. We need two!!!
Here's the "oooh" face again
Playing with all of Grant's stuffies while he's away at school.
Lane is now 10 months old. We found out yesterday after a trip to Prompt Care that he has an ear infection. He just hasn't been himself for the past week or so. He's been a horrible sleeper and just not quite as "spunky" as he normally is. Poor baby-I feel horrible because we have been letting him cry a bit longer assuming that he is just getting to the point where he is just spoiled and needed our help to get him to sleep but no this entire time he was not trying to be a spoiled baby but was trying to tell us that his little ear hurt. Grr. I could kick myself for this -really I could. But how are you to know?
Sweet little baby Lane is a quiet baby...he doesn't say much -which is a bit concerning since Grant at the same age was saying several words by now. He still has time but boy I wish I could hear that sweet little voice say something.
He is still cruizin around the furniture -trying to walk but too scared yet to do it for real.
He still doesn't like baby food and refuses to eat it. I worry about him in this department too as he is such a picky eater....he really just has his formula and crackers. Very rarely will he finish a container of baby food and often times he hardly gets through a few bites before refusing.
It's crazy to think that in two short months my little monkey will be ONE!!!! I am already planning his birthday party and excited to order his supplies.
I love snuggling him at night and love to hang out with just him in the mornings while Grant's at school. He really likes cars and trucks -especially ones that make noise and he seems to like books now. He loves playing and tinkering with things that the big kids play with ( playing cards, action figures, legos etc).
Well-not much to this blog post but I needed to get his 10 month picture on here. I will try to blog again soon.
