Friday Night Fun

Playing together so nicely. Not sure what I think of them pretending to "shoot" each other though.



Nothing like story-time at 11:30pm -Aunt Vicki could not be more awesome!





We started our Friday night fun by going to Livy's dance recital at the JHS High School. We got there early enough to get front row seats and for Grant to extra antsy before it even started. Our logic in getting front row seats was that we might just get close enough for Grant to see so well that he would hopefully be entertained the entire time -however- our plan backfired as he was too short to see over the stage (which was literally right in front of us). He ended up watching the entire thing while sitting on the arm rests of the seats we were in. He enjoyed watching the dancers and asked where Livy was during every number. Livy did an excellent job doing the Hokey Pokey....she didn't even look herself with her hair all done up and bright blue eyelids ....she was looking really cute. After that we went home to find my entire family in our driveway. No surprise though-as I knew they'd be there. Lori and Mike brought their big camper and Mom and Dad brought theirs as well. Vicki and Mick joined in the fun too. We all sat outside, ate popcorn, (some) drank beer, and talked until late into the night. So late in fact that Grant didn't get to sleep until 11:30! Ugh...not good for his mood the next day but hey...he was having way too much fun playing with his cousins.
