Grant has become a huge fan of "Pa-Pa" and talks about him all of the time!
Loves playing in the snow

Grant loves baby Nolan- well, Grant loves ALL babies.
As you can see, Grant still LOVES ears too!
Grant and his Daddy-Well it has been a long time since I have last blogged but it has been due to a faulty computer. We received a brand new computer for Christmas from Roger and Sandy so now we are up and going again. It still takes some time to load up and post pics but at least it's working again. Alot has happened since the last time I wrote and I don't even know how to go back and figure out where we left off. Thankfully I have continued to journal for Grant using Word -so I still was able to write what he has been doing the past few months. I have printed it out and put it in his cedar chest for him to read when he gets older. Jason makes fun of me for it but that's ok. Jason also thinks I am a loon for planning Grant's birthday party already. Yes, I am aware his party isn't until April but what does it hurt to get things done early? I have some things ordered off of Ebay that should be arriving this week sometime. He is going to have a Super Why party....and since Super Why isn't popular enough to have it's own line of birthday supplies I had to do some research and find some things on Ebay. He's gonna love it. For all of those who don't already know...Grant has an obsession with the cartoon show -Super Why. He loves Whyatt and watches it probably 6-8 times a day. He's starting to talk so much more now...which is really sweet. He says please and thanks which always makes a Mom proud -however he says "please" over and over to me to get his way on things I wouldn't normally allow-such as getting CANDY. He still has such a sweet tooth. He does a fantastic job brushing his teeth though -now that we got him an electric tooth brush. He just got his second round of H1N1 shot yesterday and he didn't even cry! It was the sweetest thing.....I was just so proud of him that i had to spoil him by getting him a new book, flash cards, and of course....candy. Grant also LOVES books. He would much rather look at books and have someone read to him than do anything else. He likes playing basketball and cars too but mostly he just likes to read books. Which is great! Except for I do get tired of reading the same stories over and over....but I am glad to do it if it helps him learn and explore the world of books. As you can see from the pictures Grant still has an ear fetish...he likes to hold his and everyone else's ears still. He holds on to the daycare kid's ears -it's too funny. They are so used to it that they don't even say anything anymore. Grant has really taken to the daycare kids within the past few months. He loves them just like he would his own family. Especially Cordell! He plays with them and loves to share his food with them. Toys- not as much but he's getting better. Grant had a great Christmas and loved opening presents and talking about "HO HO"- he enjoyed going to visit Santa but never wanted to sit on his lap or be close to him-However we were impressed that he wanted to give Santa high fives and fist bumps every time. Grant also enjoys the snow but hasn't been out in it much because of the cold temps.
