Grant has too many toys for a boy not even one year old yet. We ended up moving the bed out of the daycare room to make more space for all of his new things (plus he kept trying to pull up on it and he would crack his head on the frame every time.) Some of the above pictures were taken at my parents house during Christmas.I just now got them from Vicki-(I left my camera that day so she was in charge of capturing all of the fun Kodak moments.) Friday, Jason had to take Grant to the doctor. He had a horrible cough. We got some antibiotics and was told to give him cough medicine. He seems to be doing better now. Saturday I made the drive to Golden to see Lori, Mike, and baby Collin. It was so nice to see them all again. Sunday, Vicki and I went to Springfield to the bridal show and shopping. We had a good time.....it's hard not to have a good time with Vicki around. She's funny! This week (excluding today) Grant has been soooooo challenging. He has a whole room full of toys but all he wants to do is play in the cabinets and pull up on things. I wouldn't care so much about his explorations but he has fallen so many times doing these things -he has left bumps and bruises on himself and I just worry he will hurt himself really badly. Last night we let him cry it out in his crib and boy did he ever! He cried for sooooo long. Seriously like 2 hours. Not continuously -but throughout the night he was a mess. He woke up in a great mood today. We can tell he is feeling much better....he is back to his chipper self again. We love him so much. Jason and I started the diet on Monday. South Beach again. Hey, it works...so we're doin it. It's tough but the first week of any diet is tough. It gets so much better after phase 1 is over. Wish us luck.
