This is Grant playing with a soda bottle. He seems to like random things like this now.

This is Grant in his coat that is too small for him. Thank goodness we got him a new winter coat!

I had a fabulous week. Not only because I have been very productive around the house, but because I got to witness history in the making Tuesday night. I am so excited about our country's choice to elect Barack Obama as our new president. I must be honest, I get quite annoyed with the McCain supporters who are still bad mouthing Obama. I feel that some people are so closed minded and set in their ways they are blinded by the fact that this is a man who can change the country (and the world) and has motivated millions to vote and be heard. I feel, regardless of your political view you should respect and honor our new president and give him a chance to prove himself. I understand people's need to trash talk our current president because he was given a chance and proved himself to be a poor president for the past 8 years -but in Mr. Obama's case, he hasn't even been given a chance yet and certain people are already talking bad about him. People close to me even- (Jason). Although I must say his disrespect has only come in the form of some silly jokes he heard at the bank and brought home to share with me. ... I think deep down he is excited too. Well, enough about that. Another reason why my week has been good is because Jacob and the Triopia football team won yet another playoff game on Saturday afternoon. Although I wasn't able to go (because it was way too cold for Mr. Grant) I really enjoyed listening to it on the radio. We are already excited about the next game this coming Saturday. FUN! Grant is doing well. He still whines a lot and it seems to me like he is getting bored with the same toys and the same walls to look at. He IS home ALL the time with me and now that it's colder we won't be able to get him out as much. He accidentally ate some candy nerds today. Jason found this to be rather funny. He gave him the box of nerds to shake and play with and Grant chewed a hole in the box and ended up with a mouth full of nerds. We were able to get the shades bought and hung up in the daycare room...which is good news because we thought we were going to have to wait to order them. We are slowly making progress in that room. We need to get some curtains, bed spread, and a ceiling fan but then we will be all done in there. I hope this up coming week goes just as well as last week. It will be nice to have Jay home on Tuesday. I will write again soon...when I find the time.

I agree with everyone above. I am so SICK of the jokes that are either racist or...well, they are mostly just racist.
Ignorance.
