Grant went to see Dr.
Lillpop on Monday for his 6 month check up. He weighs 19lbs 6 oz and is 29 1/4 inches long. He is in the 90 percentile in his length and 75 percentile in his weight. This surprised me a bit. I really thought that he would weigh over 20lbs. Some days he feels like he could weight 30....especially when my back is aching. Overall-we got a good report and things look great! He is able to expand his diet to 2
nd and even 3rd foods which will be fun. After his visit with Dr.
Lillpop Grant had to get his 6month shots and his flu shot. He didn't like this much. The lady giving the shot
accidentally injected herself with the shot instead of Grant -he was already angry -and then we had to wait for the lady to get another of the same shot ready for us. He slept on the way home and when we got home all he wanted to do was sleep -that's how he reacted last time he got his shots. I guess it wears him out. Tuesday and Thursday I had CPR and 1st Aid training in Jacksonville from 6pm -9pm...so Jason had to get Grant bathed and ready for bed by himself for those two nights. Grandma and Grandpa
Fricke came over last night to spend some time with "little man." Grant always likes to see G-ma and G-pa. He gets to see his other grandparents this week end when we go back to Quincy for a wedding. It should be a good time. Grant has enjoyed trying some 2
nd foods and seems to like them
ok but it doesn't beat PEAS. He LOVES peas! He also LOVES bath time. So much that when you take him out he gets upset. He loves to be unclothed too. I try to let him go without clothes for a while but now that it's cold out I don't let him do it very long. We will write again soon.
