Week End Trip To Quincy

Grant went with me to Quincy this past week end. We went to Nicky's wedding, shopping for a new winter coat, out to eat, and to Grandma and Grandpa Cottingham's house. As you can see from the pictures Grant and I got to spend a lot of time with Cassie. She is getting so big and cuter with every passing day. She is the smartest little girl I know. Her vocabulary is amazing. She knows so many words and says them so clearly. She loves to lick salt, play hide and seek, "pony rides", and playing with toys. She can wipe her own nose-and does a good job at it too. She can tell you when she needs her diaper changed, which is really cute. She is very ornery too. She is too intelligent for her own good. I had a blast playing with her. Now, I am not so sure what Grant thought of her. At first he seemed terrified of her but then he got used to her and was able to sit down by her and play. It was so sweet watching the two of them together. We had a lot of fun and can't wait to see her again. If you will notice that there are no pictures of Grant with his grandparents, it is because he only let them hold him for a matter of mintues. He was scared of them and cried when they held him but seemed fine with them when he was in my arms. Silly boy! He got to go to the annual church turkey dinner with us on Sunday too. He seemed to have a good time. He liked chewing on the butter packets until they busted and made a mess. He was such a good boy on our trip back home....I am so proud of him.
