Lane enjoys cards (especially cards with stickers) almost as much as he does his gifts

He got so many toys I'm not sure where we will put them all

Lane became very shy when everyone sang, "Happy Birthday" to him- he held on to my neck so tight

I was whispering in his ear what I do when I am shy or nervous about people staring at me- told him to picture them all in their underwear

it worked - wonder who he was picturing in their underwear in this picture

I told him to say "thank you" after each gift he opened. He did so willingly and after every "thank you" he said he gave ME a hug. It was the sweetest thing ever. He has such a kind heart
