swollen left foot for a few days due to a bee sting- Grant refuses to keep his shoes on outside even after multiple stings-I remember being a kid and doing the same- it was awful to have to try to run in flip flops and who wears sneakers in summer?

Lane wants to be so much like his big brother all of the time- he needed a matching swollen foot from a bee sting too.

Lane had us worried with his sting as the red swollen area seemed to be creeping up his leg. Yikes. He took some meds and was fine.

Not sure if you remember the cotton ball jars but Grant filled his jar with cotton balls and his reward was Scotties Fun Spot

We've had fun attending the Jacksonville Public Library Summer Reading Programs. Steve and his reptiles were there and Grant got to hold a anaconda! Yuck

Lane drew me a flower. He said, "it's for you Mom because I know you like flowers."

Grant found the jackpot of baseball cards in our basement and insisted on going through thousands of cards to find all of the Cardinal ones. After 3 days he was finally done finding the cards he wanted then thought he was going to sort all of the others into individual teams- he then realized this was probably unrealistic unless he wanted to make this his primary and only activity for the rest of the summer. This kid- loves baseball so much!
