Sun, Sand, and Saltwater

Grant showing off his new shark tooth necklace. He also bought a beach volleyball (after watching several games being played on the beach he decided he wanted to join the fun.)

Everyday at around 3:30 or 4:00 Lane couldn't hold out any longer and would just lay down and take a snoozer. He slept like this with no problems-he didn't care. Some life uh?

If you look closely, you can see Grant throwing the football in the background. Some older man came up to Jason and Grant and asked if he could play too. He was giving Grant pointers on how to throw the ball and I think Grant actually listened and enjoyed having a third player. He said several times on our trip, "people in Florida are really really friendly."

More afternoon napping

Ready to go shopping - they have their money bags ready

The first night there we could not for the life of us figure out what everyone on the beach was doing with flashlights. It was 10 at night and there were gobs of people on the beach looking for something. Well, we found out that they were hunting ghost crabs. So we got us some flashlights too and joined in the fun. The boys seemed to enjoy it. We found three but then it started to rain on us so we had to call it a night. It was sure fun though.

Lane bought some little toy cars at the gift shop...he loved playing with them on the balcony. It was a daily thing.

Getting buried in the sand is a MUST DO at the beach right?

so cute

There were lots of giggles going on here.

We went to the Pier to see the sights. The boys enjoyed seeing all of the fisherman

Every day, multiple times a day the boys would BEG us to got sit in the hot tub! I think this was the only time I was annoyed the entire trip...because really boys? It's 98 degrees and we are in sunny Florida on the beach and you want to what??? SIT IN A HOT TUB! Once or twice...I get but this was a constant request.

Hot tub sitting

Random pic of the pool, I guess

Palm trees....ah, that's how you know you are somewhere warm. Love love love the site of palm trees!

The boys were like little fish in the pool. They really enjoyed the waterfall
