Grant loves this thing....its is a turtle shell. The most disgusting thing I have seen in a long time. Oh and to top it off -we have two! Cause Lane had to have one too. YUCK!

Vacation bible school at our church was last week....Grant has sure grown up a lot since last year. He barely got out a bye before slamming the car door and running for the doors. Last year he was still by my side (hand in hand) and wanted me to walk him in everyday. Not this year....he didn't even look back once. Happy that he is growing up but it's bittersweet because it does make me feel sad that he doesn't need me anymore.
Then there's this little guy......NEXT YEAR he will be old enough to attend bible school too. WHAT? How is that possible? They had an extra vbs shirt this year and gave it to him to wear. He was soooo proud to have a shirt just like big brother and the older kids.
Summer at my daycare is always exciting but on Fridays it gets even more exciting. Every Friday of summer break we have what we call FUN FRIDAY.....it basically means "GET WET!"
Oh and it also means soda pops and Popsicles!
Lane fell asleep outside in my lawn chair....he was sooooo tired he just couldn't take it anymore.
After the rain we got on Saturday we let the boys go run in the rain puddles in the driveway. Of course they took this to a whole new level and headed straight for the mud-puddles...not just splashing in them but rolling in them. Oh they had a ball!
We made a paper chain to count down the days til our vacation. Grant loves keeping track!
The boys loved playing in the rain puddles...Grant just used his Ziggle to ziggle his way around and Lane cruised on his little tricycle. I am now having some Mommy guilt though cause now Lane has a cold....and I am thinking it is a result of playing in the cold rain. Ugh....I feel major guilt but they did have a blast!
