The boys had a great time on our trip to the zoo. Lane loved the train rides as we knew he would. I thought he may get frightened during the long dark tunnel time but he didn't and always seemed to be loving the ride. We took Grant when he was two years old and he didn't seem all that into it....but this time around he was very inquisitive and entertained by the animals. He especially liked the giraffes and monkeys. We did choose a horrible day to go -the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. It was definitely busy especially since the temperature was so mild and pleasant. Pleasant that is, until it rained on us. It only rained for about an hour and then it stopped -cleared out and got sunny and warm again. We had a great trip and I very happy the boys seemed to enjoy it as much as we did. It was a day spent making memories and getting in some fun family time. Can't beat the St. Louis Zoo!
