Friday I took the daycare kiddos and Grant to the Play for All Park. It was the first day for it being open since the boil order 3 weeks ago. Grant loved playing in the water. The other kids seemed to enjoy playing on the playground equipment more which baffled me because it was sooo incredibly hot outside and they had the option of getting wet yet still chose to go down the slides and run around. Hey but whatever trips their trigger. Grant was so happy because he had made a new "friend" while we were there. Granted he doesn't know his friends name and this boy was much older than Grant but Grant called him his friend because they played together the entire time. He had a great time. We topped off Fun Friday by going to the fair to ride the rides with our friends-The Mossmans. Grant really enjoyed riding the rides with Bryson and Jason. There were even a few that Jason tried to ride with Grant and got turned down -as Grant would say, "no, I am gonna ride this one with Bryson." Too funny. Those boys rode almost all the rides there. They had no fear-the rode things I probably wouldn't even get on. They were so sweet together...and so well behaved. They waited patiently in lines and smiled the entire time they rode. They were sooo much fun to watch. I loved it probably as much as they did. It was hot so we all were rather sweaty-especially Grant! He plays so hard.
I got to enjoy a FUN SATURDAY with my best girl -Amy. We went shopping in Springfield for maternity clothes (as we both have already outgrown most of ours). It was so nice to just SHOP and have some girl time...then we topped it off with an hour long pregnancy massage at BJ's spa. Ahhhhhh it felt awesome! I have been having such a horrible time with my back the past few weeks. I have tried sleeping on the floor and the couch to just get comfortable -with little success. My shoulder blades are the problem areas. So therefor it hurts to lay on either side and when I sleep on my back I get short of breath and uncomfortable and sleeping on my tummy isn't an option anymore either. UGh. Hopefully it will pass and I won't have 18 more weeks of sleeplessness. Last night was the first night in a long time that I made it throughout the entire night without having to relocate!
