And the Winner is.......

The Winner of the Best Aunt of the Year Award would have to go to Mrs. Victoria Selby. Seriously-she went above and beyond her call of duty on Saturday. Since I had to work at a garage sale all morning Saturday and Jason had to work I had Grant go with Aunt Vicki. Vicki had the idea of taking him to the Virgina BBQ/parade. It was extremely hot out Saturday -even in the early morning hours. They watched the parade and the baby contest and then Grant desperately wanted to ride the SWINGS..and I am not talking about park swings here -I am talking about those huge swings that go around relatively fast in circles. Yes, Vicki did try to convince Grant to use his tickets on a ride more age appropriate however, he was dead set on riding the swings. So, instead of just telling him, "no, buddy, we gotta pick a different ride." She obliges and joins Grant on the swings. Mind you she is pregnant and already nauseous..and it's 95 degrees out. She said it was worth it because Grant loved the swings....so much so that he asked immediately after getting off that he wanted to go again. Thankfully she told him a fib about only getting to ride one ride a day. hehehehe Anyways! AWESOME! Grant is so incredibly lucky to have such great Aunts-especially AUNT VICKI!
