More Halloween Happiness

Well, we survived Halloween. I am well aware that Halloween is a scary and frightening holiday however I don't believe I have ever truly been scared until this Halloween. There is nothing more frightening than a grumpy, overly tired, sugar-filled, two year old with a gun! Ugh. Grant was challenging all day but once we started out on our trick -or-treating adventure things were smooth sailing. We started out by paying Uncle Jamie, Aunt Jenna, and little Livvy a visit. Grant enjoyed all of the goodies from them but especially enjoyed playing upstairs in the playroom with Livvy. We then ventured over to Uncle Mick and Aunt Vicki's house. This is always fun for Grant because he enjoys the cats and dogs and of course the silliness that both Uncle Mick and Aunt Vicki always have to offer. He played with punch balloons there for what seemed like an eternity and had a ball! We then went to see Great Grandma Pahlmann. He loved stealing her candy corn and visiting with her. Our last and final stop with Grandma and Grandpa Fricke's house. Like everyone before them -they spoiled him with candy and goodies as well. All in all it was a very enjoyable Halloween even though at the beginning I thought it would be the worst based off the fact that Grant was kicking and screaming "I don't wanna wear me costume!" moments before we left the house. This morning, I believe my little cowboy is still coming down from his sugar high. Now what to do with all of this candy? Lord knows if it stays in the house much longer I will have to break down and eat some of it-so it's got to go or at least I have to hide it from not only Grant but myself and Jason.
