First Steps

Last Friday, Grant took his first steps. Ever since then he has become more and more brave with each passing day. He attempts to walk now multiple times a day and is getting better with his balance. We wonder if he might be walking by his first birthday. He loves to walk around our house using his walker. He has actually gotten quite fast and looks really funny cruising around with it. My daycare kids thinks it's great that he is trying to walk like a big boy and they are encouraging him to walk all the time.

Grant has a cold with a nasty runny nose- Again. I am so annoyed with him getting colds all the time and really can't wait until Spring gets here so we can keep all the germs outside. Seems like everyone is just passing it back and forth. No fun. Jason has a cold now too. He thinks he is too tough for cold medicine so he is just toughing it out for now.

Grant's new thing is PUPPIES! He loves to go see our dog, Skid and loves books or anything to do with Puppies. He can even say Puppy....but it comes out as a soft whisper that sounds more like "pup pup pup." It's cute. What isn't so cute is that he can not eat now without throwing his food on the floor. He loves to watch it drop from his highchair to the ground and I think he enjoys watching Mommy and Daddy pick it up more.

Things are good we are just waiting for two things......SPRING and Grant to Walk. Fun stuff.
