Grant's 1st Halloween

Grant's Halloween celebration started on Thursday night. We took him to see Great Grandma at Knollwood. I think she really enjoyed seeing Grant in his Scarecrow costume. We spent some time there and then took him to see Aunt Vicki and Uncle Mick at their house. He always has fun with Aunt Vicki, because she is so silly with him. He did get a little bit of a fright from their two little dogs. He didn't care for them much. The next day we had fun with the daycare kids. We had a spooky lunch which included bloody fingers (french fries), frog eyes (peas), and mummies (hot dogs wrapped in crescent rolls). I had a lot of fun celebrating Halloween with them. Since they didn't have school we had time for a late afternoon walk. Grant loves stroller rides so he was thrilled to get to go with us. Grandpa Cottingham spent the morning with us. He stopped by before his doctors appointment. Grant had a blast playing with him on the new carpet. That night we went to Grandma and Grandpa Fricke's for Trick or Treating. Grandma had lots of fun new toys for Grant to take home with him. Grant got to spend some time with Aunt Jenna and Uncle Jamie too. He liked to play with both of them. That about sums up Grant's first Halloween. It was fun to get him all dressed up but I am anxiously awaiting next year when he is able to better understand what is going on. Over all our Halloween was very fun!
