Annoyed

Ok, so I guess this blog thing is kinda nice because it gives people who associate with me the constant threat that if they tick me off I will write horrible things about them on my blog for the world to read. Unfortunately, HOME DEPOT isn't a follower of my blog....I am so annoyed with Home Depot and the service (or lack of) we have received. We went there over 3 weeks ago to inquire about carpet for the daycare room. They told us that someone would come out and measure that week and after he came out we could place the order for the carpet. They informed us that after we place the order it takes up to 3 weeks to have installed. That week the guy who does their measurements couldn't come so he said he would be there the following Thursday or Friday. He didn't show. I had to call them and complain to the manager. They sent the guy out to measure last Wednesday. He told us that the store would call us with the quote by Thursday or Friday....no one called...so we called them. Needless to say, we still have not ordered the carpet and quite frankly I am not sure we want to now. Anyways...to catch you all up on what the Fricke fam has been up to lately...Friday night we went to Jacob's football game at ISD. Even though Jacob had a nice TD catch -I still found the game somewhat boring. However, I did have a good time chatting with Vicki and Mick. They always make me laugh-they are really entertaining. Saturday, we went to Springfield for Grant's 6 month pictures at Sears. He did well. We took Jacob's football gear (helmet and jersey) with us for Grant to pose with. I think they turned out really cute. I want to see them online so badly but they are having problems with their on-line services so we have to wait until they get it figured out. Saturday night we went to Grandma and Grandpa Fricke's for a wiener roast. It was a really plesant evening. Grant is still experiencing stanger anxiety and cries when someone new talks to him or tries to hold him...so that wasn't fun for me but we lived. Sunday we went to church and spent the rest of the day at home. Grant has a runny nose. I am hoping it's just a runny nose and not a cold. His second tooth is breaking through the gums so maybe that's why his nose has been running. I hope that's the case-I don't want a sick baby again. Not fun. Today was nice, I only had two daycare kids here and I had Jason home with us all day. We had fun! We made brownies, played with play dough, used stamps to make cards, and went on a walk to the park. I got a lot of laundry done. I feel like I had a very productive day. I needed one of those. I feel like I have been running around so much lately that I don't have time to get anything done. I hope to take some more pics soon. I don't have any new ones to post right now-but I will get on it. Promise!
