Grant is ready to go to Uncle Jacob's football game tonight. We have our bags backed, the car loaded, and we're ready to go.
Grant is really into putting everything in his mouth now. This includes furniture. He loves to chew on the back of the rocking chair now. I believe this is because his teeth hurt and he is trying to find relief anywhere he can find it.
Mommy left Grant with Daddy last night to have some "girl time," which was really nice. Jason spoiled Grant by not letting him Cry It Out at bedtime last night. He took him outside on the front porch swing instead. Jason claims they needed "guy time" and that's why he broke the routine. I guess I will let it slide this time.
Grant has had lots of fun today. He has been practicing his skills at sitting up on his own and he is doing very well. He can sit up by himself for a few minutes now but then tumbles over. With a bit more time and some more practice I think he should have this skill mastered in a few more weeks.
Grant got a surprise visit from his Grandma and Grandpa Cottingham this afternoon. He enjoyed this because he not only got to see his Pappy and Grandma but he got out of taking his nap at his usual time. Grandpa is feeling well....(as well as he can feel after having surgery). He is in good spirits and seems to be his normal self again.
Go Triopia! We'll talk to you later.
